- Callaway FT-9 driver The FT-9 driver is reasonably long off of the tee and somewhat forgiving but you do need to make a good swing and hit the ball very close to the center of the club face to get maximum distance.

| Monday September 7, 2009 I swtiched over to the FT-9 from the 07 Burner and could feel an improvement immediately. The FT-9 bombs the ball. The shaft is also worth the investment. The clubs look also inspires confidence. Not a boring/traditional look, but not trying to be anything wacky or special.. This club is probably more for a mid to lower handicapper because the emphasis is more on working the ball instead of forgiveness, but i find a steady swing usually leads to good results with the club.
